This week has been a busy one for brush fires! Captain Mushen and Firefighter Kave assisted with a fire in Kitsap County near Horseshoe Lake that burned 17 acres. We also responded to emergency calls in our neighboring jurisdictions while they were tackling wildland fires in their areas. It takes teamwork to prevent and control these fires, especially with the hot, dry weather we are experiencing.
