Disaster Assistance Centers Open Jan. 2-5

King County Office of Emergency Management, along with Washington State Emergency Management Division (WAEMD), will be opening Disaster Assistance Centers (DACs) this weekend (January 2-5) in both the north and south county areas (those most affected by the flooding).

  • Auburn Library: (1102 Auburn Way S) – Friday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturday (1 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • King County Library System Administrative Office (960 Newport Way NW, Issaquah) – Sunday (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • Carnation Library: (4804 Tolt Ave) – Monday (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

WAEMD will be activating the Individual Assistance program and will begin accepting applications to administer financial assistance to qualifying residents at the DACs. Residents will also be able to apply online if they are unable to make it in person.
