Letters of Commendation Awarded to Firefighters Fisher and Stivers

Congratulations to Firefighters Fisher and Stivers who recently received a Letter of Commendation for their quick thinking and decisive actions following a serious motor vehicle collision. The two were working on Engine 334 when they were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash in early November. They devised a plan and worked quickly to remove a door from a heavily damaged vehicle and safely backboard a patient. The efficient extrication saved crucial minutes and gave the patient the best chance for survival.
A Letter of Commendation is awarded for exemplary performance of duties associated with specific assignments or on-scene emergencies. Great job, Kyle and John!
