We are on week 4 of our Wildland Urban Interface Home Project of the Week campaign. Hopefully you have had the opportunity to get outside and check off a few or all of the previous projects.

• Week 1 – Declutter

This week we are focusing on decks and porches. Never store flammable materials under your deck or porch and remove any dead vegetation or debris from underneath or between deck board joints. It’s also helpful to install 1/8 inch mesh wiring below decks and porches to prevent material from accumulating underneath.
