New Construction

All new construction with the Valley Regional Fire Authority's service area and permitted within the Cities of Algona, Auburn and Pacific Building Departments are reviewed by the Fire Marshals office to ensure the proposed development meets applicable fire and life safety requirements. Improved Fire Codes and new construction plan review is one of the primary ways that the Fire Service has reduced the number of catastrophic fires and fire fatalities in the United States over the past 30 years.
