Fire Stations & Equipment
The VRFA provides service from the following four locations:
Equipment
The VRFA has a fleet of four primary fire engines and four reserve fire engines. Our typical fire engine can pump over 1,750 gallons per minute and carries 750 gallons of water. The VRFA also has a variety of ambulance and specialized support vehicles to facilitate responses to emergencies involving hazardous materials, high-angle rope rescues, and water related emergencies. Maintenance and repair of the fire apparatus is managed through an intergovernmental contract with KCFPD #37 and the Kent Fire Department maintenance facility. This state of the art facility is staffed with certified fire apparatus mechanics and has a well established track record of ensuring that your emergency vehicles are ready when you need them.
